Concrete repairs
Structural damage caused by environmental factors, often in conjunction with poor workmanship, increasingly requires that the fabric of a building is protected and preserved. Based on intensive preliminary surveys and assessment of the building or structure, the demanding qualitative implementation of the repair work is then mostly carried out by hand.
All of the work we perform is subjected to our own stringent quality assurance measures and may also be subjected to additional inspection by external agents. High-quality workmanship ensures permanent protection against damp, temperature changes, air and water pollution and against chemical and biological factors.
Concrete repair - areas of application
- Bridges and tunnels
- Residential, administrative and industrial buildings
- Chimneys and cooling towers
- Underground car parks and parking decks
- Nuclear and hydroelectric power stations
- Hospitals, health resorts
- Sewage plants, drinking water storage containers
- Sports facilities
In specific:
- Specification of the composites of the concrete and screed base
- Establishing compressive strength and porosity
- Examining adhesive tensile strength and chemical contamination
- Establishing carbonation depth and chloride content
- Establishing residual moisture content and structural component temperature
- Creation of an effective adhesive surface by roughening the surface material
- Ensuring that the temperature exceeds the dew point temperature
- Ensuring mechanical reliability, high abrasion resistance, high acid resistance, conductivity, de-contaminability, crack bridging ability and cleanability
- Improving the visual appearance of concrete surfaces
